....For the BATTLE OF THE HIGH SCHOOL BANDS!
Sunday, May 18th, 2008, 2pm - 8pm,

10 Greater Lansing High School Rock Bands will perform on both stages at the Cadillac Club, and the Audience and the Judges will decide who wins the prizes! The Biggest winner though, will be the Mid Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross…This event is part of the "Heroes" Campaign, and will raise funds for that organization, which helps people in their time of greatest need right here in our own community.

"Funny Gals" Comedy Show

Saturday, April 26th at 7:30 pm

featuring Lansing's own Toni Imhoff, recently named "funniest female comic"

at the 2008 Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Also performing are Lansing City Councilwoman Kathie Dunbar, Shelly Smith, M.J. Pope and Brenda Nelson, as well as five members of metro Detroit's Womyn's Komedy Netwerk: Erica Lynn, Julie Lyons, Kris McLonis, Terrye Summers and Stephanie Hillier.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door the night of the event

or before the event at the Michigan Women's Historical Center.

All Proceeds will go to the operating fund of the historical center.
