Dear Mr. Sheets:
Last
Friday evening my wife and I had the great pleasure of visiting
the Cadillac Club for the first time. We were truly impressed
with the uniqueness of your establishment.
The
setting is unlike any other in the Greater Lansing area. It
is both exciting and refreshing to have such a facility so close
at hand, especially as to its décor and the variety of
entertainment. It is the most personable night club we have
experienced in a long time.
From
start to finish your service staff was very congenial and attentive
to all guests throughout the evening, and we were exceptionally
pleased with our dinner choice.
Your
reclamation and preservation of an older building in this manner
is certainly a plus for the “cool cities” approach
sought by Lansing.
We
look forward to our next visit to your fine establishment.
Sincerely,
Daniel

Hi
Dave,
I
wish to thank you and your staff at The Cadillac Club for hosting
a memorable event last Saturday night, March 1st, when our annual
banquet and fundraiser was held in The DeVille Room. The Michigan
Muskie Alliance is very appreciative of the arrangements made
for this event and the attentive service of those staff working
that night. I would like to mention specifically the contributions
of Chef Brett who presented and maintained an excellent buffet
spread. Also, Rhonda and Pam during the preliminary banquet
planning stage, along with Cindy, Mary Lou, Lynn and all the
others working on the floor during the festivities were very
helpful. Additionally, Nicole provided good service afterward
when some of us transitioned to the other side for some music
and relaxation.
This
kind of personal service and atmosphere makes The Cadillac Club
stand out above other facilities in the area. Many of the 100
plus members attending had never been to the Cadillac Club before.
Everyone enjoyed the food and the amenities at your outstanding
facility.
Thanks
again, Dave, to you and your staff for a job well done!
Sincerely,
Chuck

To Whom It May Concern:
I
just wanted to thank you for the wonderful service we received
at your restaurant on Friday, October 12. I had a group of 20
physicians in the Seville Room for dinner.
First,
the service was impeccable. From my first phone call when I
spoke to Kara (catering) I was very pleased. She helped me work
through menu selection and made excellent suggestions to accommodate
our group.
Second,
the waitresses, Nicole, Jade and Mary were outstanding! They
efficiently saw to all our needs. On top of that, the food was
superb.
I
will highly recommend your establishment to others and will
not hesitate to return for future events.
Thank you,

Ms. Liskey,
We
want to thank you, Chef Telder, your staff, and the Cadillac
Club for helping us to have a successful Founders’ Feast.
We turned out many new people, and made money in our very first
fundraiser. That’s impressive for an organization only
six months old. It wouldn’t have been possible without
the Cadillac Club.
The
food was delicious and the ambience just right. Having the servers
in period costume as a great idea of yours; it certainly added
to the Victorian flavor of the event. Thanks too, for obtaining
the Presto String Quartet from Okemos High School. The young
people gave a fine performance.
Every
single person I spoke to was impressed with the event at your
restaurant. I hope that those who were not familiar with the
Club before will patronize it now.
Our
sincerest appreciation,
Tim Bogar
Secretary, Friends of Lansing’s Historic Cemeteries

I
had the pleasure of dining at the Cadillac Club recently when
part of my family came into town for a visit. Not only was the
food mouth-watering, the service was outstanding and the ambiance
of the place was overwhelming. Needless to say, unlike the dull,
mostly chain-owned restaurants in the area, The Cadillac Club
was an evening out the entire family will remember.
I
was surprised to see so few people on a Friday night. This was
only my second dining experience at the Cadillac Club, but certainly
not the last. Hopefully, more people will patronize the place,
as it would be a sore loss if the Cadillac Club closed its doors.
The
next time you think of dining out, treat yourself to a world-class
experience!

Mr. Sheets:
My
name is Debbie Kosloski, and I am Lisa Domagalski's assistant
at the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America.
This
letter is in appreciation for your wonderful catering staff.
They have just completed another excellent job here at the Accident
Fund!
As
you are probably aware, we plan many different events throughout
the year which requires catering. I have worked with several
caterers in the past, and although we've had some really good
ones, there was usually some sort of glitch or some little thing
that wasn't quite right. Until now. I can't praise your staff
enough.
Chef
Brett is absolutely wonderful to work with and the quality of
food he prepares has been the absolute best we have ever had.
I have heard nothing but great feedback about how good the food
is from Cadillac Club. So far, not one complaint. When you are
dealing with over 500 employees, that is nothing short of spectacular!
Chef Brett is always helpful, creative, and always willing to
do whatever it takes. I am very thankful for him!
Anneka
is incredible as well. The attention that she pays to the details
is so greatly appreciated. Lisa and myself are pretty detailed
as well, and it is such a pleasure to work with someone that
does the same. I will never have to worry about anything as
long as Anneka is there. She is kind, courteous, and goes right
with the flow with all the last-minute changes we seem to spring
on her. I truly enjoy working with her. She is very professional!
Last,
but not at all least, your catering staff and servers are a
pleasure. They are also very professional, kind, and courteous.
They stay focused, they know what they're doing, and they do
it very well.
I
typically don't write these types of letters to the owners,
but I felt compelled to do so in this case. In the events that
we plan, catering is a key part of their success. Your staff
at the Cadillac Club has proven themselves to be the very best.
They have not only helped make our events successful, but have
shown me that there is perfection in the catering world!
Thank
you, again.

Dear Dave,
I
want to thank The Cadillac Club for being a part of the 2007
Higher Education Facility Management Association (HEFMA) summer
conference. Everyone who joined in on Tuesday night’s
dinner was delighted as it was definitely presented in grand
style. The food and service was great and so was the live entertainment.
Chef Brett and the staff was outstanding in providing us with
great food, and paying attention to all the details and personal
service.
Again,
thank you for providing us with a top venue for our event.
Sincrely,
William

Hello Dave,
Just
wanted to let you know how much my wife and I enjoy the Cadillac
Club. It is fine dining at its best in Lansing. We took our
daughter out for dinner last and she was very pleased. She is
from Nashville and is accustomed to some great dining facilities
in that area. The garlic mouse is to die for.
Thanks
for bringing this place to existence. It is our favorite.
Thanks,

To:
Owner/Manager
Cadillac Club
I have only had the privilege of having dinner at your restaurant
three times and each time has been wonderful. The food and service
have always been great.
I
must mention Tuesday night’s visit and seeing the “Barry
Manilow Look and Sing Alike” show. He was, as usual, a
great performer (I’ve seen him before). One of the nicest
things about the evening were the waiters. Carter was one and
I can’t remember the name of the other person, but they
were knowledgeable and really on the ball. Carter knew the menu
well, and a dirty glass or dish was picked up immediately. They
are an asset to your organization, as I am sure are many of
the ladies at the entrance.
I
hope you’re able to keep Cadillac Club open for many years.
Best thing since Dines.
Sincerely,
Margaret Black

| Dear
Dave:
Thank you for your generous support again this year of the Baby
Boomer Bash through discounting the room fee and donating a
gift certificate for a door prize.
The
Bash allows us to get the word out to the public that we are
here and working for “Life Without Limits” for people
with disabilities. Through publicity for our Bash, we’ve
met new friends whom we’ve helped through our services,
and others who have helped us as new volunteers.
As
you know, the Bash has become a very popular event and your
club is the perfect atmosphere for it. Thank you again for helping
us make the Baby Boomer Bash happen. See you next year!

To
the Cadillac Club Management,
We at Van Atta’s
would like to thank all of you involved in making our Holiday
Party a great success. Even though the weather was probably
the worst it had been all winter and all of my employees thought
of just sitting at home cuddled up in a warm blanket, we all
were delighted to have arrived and greeted so warmly. Where
do I begin? The Limo ride I highly recommend….took the
worry away. The food was superb and we had many compliments.
The service was the best I have experienced there and George
and I have dined there more than a few times. And then there
was the music! What a nice perk that was. The whole set up was
tremendous. By the time all our employees got to relax and enjoy,
I don’t think there were any of them that wished they
had not come. All your employees were very professional and
yet very warm and relaxed. I notice these things because that’s
how I like my employees to be.
Give
my best to Chef Brett and many thanks to Anita for helping with
the arrangements. Lastly, for Ronda, keep up the good work.
All of your effort is working. Tell Dave that I’ll do
my best to tell everyone of the great time we all had. I am
not quite done yet and I cannot fail to mention one more thing.
One of our employees had car trouble and waited til almost 4
am for roadside assistance. They said that you all were so kind
as to let them stay and literally fall asleep at the bar. Thank
you for keeping them warm and safe. “What goes around
comes around” I guess Cadillac Club will be around for
a while. Best wishes for a fabulous 2007!
Sincerely,
Maria

Mr.

The
Cadillac Club

Hello
Dave,
Let me start by telling
you that it was a pleasure to meet you last Saturday night at
the Fairbanks Grill.
Around
4:30 – 5:00 on Saturday afternoon I learned that the Cadillac
Club (along with all of REO town) had lost power. This put me
directly behind the 8 ball since my daughter Angela’s
wedding reception was planned for 7 pm that night.
Immediately,
your Chef Brett stepped up to the plate to establish an alternative
plan. After discussing our options Chef Brett said that he had
an idea of another location and would get back with me ASAP.
Within 10 minutes he called me back to tell me that we could
transfer the party to the Fairbanks Grill (a facility not affiliated
with the Cadillac Club). He would have the food transferred
to the Fairbanks Grill and his staff along with Todd Cleveland
and his Fairbanks staff would prepare and serve it at the Fairbanks
with only about an hour delay from our original start time.
Needless to say I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I could not believe that within
2 hours your staff along with the staff of a rival restaurant
could work together to pull off a change in venue AND make it
appear as if it had been originally planned for the Fairbanks
Grill in the first place.
Despite
the adversities of the day the party was a smashing success!
I have heard nothing but rave reviews from my guests concerning
the location, the service and especially the food. The meal
was wonderful! The quality, taste and display of the food were
first class. For me personally it was one of the finest wedding
receptions I have ever attended.
I
highly commend and deeply thank Chef Brett and his staff for
their ability to take an extremely chaotic situation and turn
it into the fantastic party we experienced. In addition, I want
to greatly thank Todd, Miranda, Danielle and the rest of the
staff from Fairbanks for everything that was done to bring this
about. It is this small-town, can do attitude by everyone involved
that made Saturday night a success.
In
closing, you should be very proud of the high caliber of people
who worked diligently to accomplish this.
With
grateful appreciation,
Mark
and Margaret Lewis

“On
behalf of Cooley’s Operation Hurricane Hope and as president
of the Student Bar Association, I wanted to thank you for your
sponsorship of our benefit concert on September 28. The benefit
concert wrapped up a two-week endeavor to raise funds for the
Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, which will total around $20,000.
The event was an integral part of the fundraising efforts and
your generosity in allowing us to hold the event at the Cadillac
Club was greatly appreciated. The faculty, students and staff
from Cooley were impressed with the facility and service. I
look forward to a continuing and long-lasting relationship.
Thanks again to our neighbors down the street!”

“I attended the WRAP Waste Reduction Awards Program luncheon
today and had to comment on the buffet. It was phenomenal! Not
only was it the best buffet that I have enjoyed in years, but
it was one of the best meals I have had as well. The variety
of entrees and salad choices was extremely impressive, but the
flavor of the food was incredible. Everyone at our was raving
– positively. Your ability to consistently produce a unique
and outstanding dining experience in Lansing is raising the
bar for everyone. My compliments to your chef and staff!

“Wow!
I can’t remember having a better meal at a luncheon meeting.
Last Wednesday the Lansing Advertising Club had our monthly
lunch meeting at the Cadillac Club. The buffet was delicious!
Variety and quality made the numerous choices irresistible.
I have never seen such a nicely prepared line! We heard the
Cadillac Club was a little slice of Las Vegas, but never expected
to see a buffet of this caliber in Lansing. Keep up the good
work.”
